Attendances down 20% since he joined the club and sacked after just failing in making the play offs. That's pretty much indentical to what happened at Oldham. If you want your crowds to dip he's your man. Although now fired twice after just missing the play offs is a bit harsh.
He's not liked at all by the players Know someone who played for them - an arrogant (wnkr) by all accounts.
RE: Did the player you speak of make it at Tranmere? Why now though? If they were going to get rid of him then why didn't they sack him at the end of the season? It doesn't make any sense.
RE: Did the player you speak of make it at Tranmere? They put an offer on season tickets, that might be something to do with it. They set a deadline to sell x amount, and if they did then season tickets would be £125 (I think). They failed to sell enough so the prices went back to normal and the fans had the option to pay the rest or get their £125 back and not have a season ticket. Something along those lines anyway.
It's difficult to take the word of any footballer on a manager when that manager has released the player.
He's an intelligent lad who has actually bettered himself No reason to feel bitter - represented Wales , playing in the Eurpoa League next year and medals under his belt.
