Do people genuinely hate him for what he did against us in the early 80s? Or is he simply a guy you love to hate?
both, he always scored against us, but he always took the stick we gave him and laughed back. Actually liked him when I met him, really didnt think I would.
Got to say, personally, that i didn't mind the bloke. If memory serves me right, i seem to remember a certain bloke by the initials of KE inventing the song whilst on a trip to Gillingham as he was sat on the back seat. Ronie Moore also got a tug by a policeman after he gace a V-sign to the Ponty End during a fixture in the 82/83 season and i think the incident was received with a great deal of humour. Imagine such an action today by a footballer?
RE: Ronnie is a top man used to love singing at him in the early 80s he could take it and dish it out. Hate him ? not likely wish there were a few more like him now. Also I don't think I hate anyone merely because they happened to play in a football team.
