    Yes good enough for premier League with City struggling for goals but outplayed by a mid table Spanish team and a Swiss team who were thumped by Bayern Munich.Need more in midfield for Champions League.

    You understand the difference between a big budget and unlimited wealth, right?
    If Man City don't win anything this year, they could make an offer of a hundred million quid or more for Ronaldo, and still spend more if they chose.
    Man Utd have a big budget, and they've spent wisely (Jones, etc) but it's not the same.
