    since when has beeing stupid been a defence to get out of legitimate debts

    It's interesting though.

    That &quot;**** off I'm not paying&quot; is something that can't be challenged in law. </p>

    Someone told me that a well known racing pundit refused to pay some bookie for bets he'd placed with them and they couldn't get the money back legally. (I'm sure some bookies may have other means of persuasion)</p>
