in 3 out of his 4 games for Scunny last season. A better strike rate than any of ***** we have now are producing.
I know most didn't like him, but I was always a fan of him when he was here. Played the lone role up front during a tough period for the club under Gudjon, and played it really well. After we sold him he forged a pretty decent career for himself, and I seem to recall him bagging quite a lot of goals for Swindon. I'd take all 3 trialists back tbh if they can prove their fitness and determination, whether it be short term contracts or pay as you play.
I agree. I'd take Hammill anyway and I'd take Rory purely based on he's definitely better than Conor Wilkinson. **** me we're desperate.
still laugh when i remember him getting subbed when playing against us and then coming off and going to sit in the barnsley bench. Quality.
If we consider re-signing this clown we really are in the mire. Although it looks more like he's here to train and get fit than earn a contract.
He scored a cracker at the Millennium Stadium against us, trouble is that was nearly ten years ago and he wasn't a youngster then.
He was our only striker when we sold him was bambi. Ended up with Antony Kay up front once or twice as I recall. He's the only bloke i've seen who was 6'3" but only 5'8" when he jumped! He was finally getting to be a good dependable player when he went, and ended up scoring an overhead against us in the playoff final. 33 now though, I'm not sure centre forward is the place we need experience. I wouldn't be upset to see him get a deal until May though
Always been one of those players who's looked decent against us but wasn't particularly great for us. Scored practically from the halfway line for Plymouth against us a few years back as well as that OH kick in the playoff final. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
