Rory always gave 100% for the team. Unfortunately some of the fans didn't take to him and treated him rather badly in my opinion. To wind him up would only make him try that bit harder.

Brilliant lad who gave his all every time he played. Sold without asking for a transfer. Why do some Barnsley fans dislike him so much?

    Agreed. I rated him.

Whilst he wasn't world class he was a damn sight better than what we had at the time.

Nothing beats good analytical criticism. You can't argue with it.

I love the way he continues to leap majestically into the air

    To CHEST the ball.

    Brilliant, pure brilliance.

Why we sold him I can only think of many many reasons.

Hope he doesn't come back to haunt us.

Agreed. I liked him too. He was forced to play a lone role up front. A lot of weight on the shoulders of a young lad. He 'worked his socks off for us' to quote one of Andy Ritchie's cliches.

RE He's still scored more goals this season than any of our forwards

I've no idea, but my sister and my dad hate him. When I ask them why they just claim he's rubbish. To make it even worse, my sister's always moaning at Rory because his elbows sometimes....get in the way. It didn't help when Reidy said that Rory had caused that bandage on his head - it couldn't have been Rory anyway since he was busy dealing with Carbon.:(

"Paul Hayes who's scored no where near as many goals yet played more games"

    Will that fit?

    (worship) to Rory Fallon. (neer)
