You appear to be basing your entire sneer campaign againstPoet on the premise that there are no differences between the ways that negro, caucasian and oriental brains work. Is that what you really think?

    No, you're very wrong

For a start I think that the idea of a Negro brain is way off mark, as is the idea of a caucasian brain - do I as an Englishman think the same way as Greek, Finn or Portuguese? Don't think so.

To think that everyone who has Black skin shares similar characteristics is just so 19th century. There can be thousands of miles and millenia of cultural and physical differences between for instance the hill tribes of Eritrea and the desert dwellers of the Skeleton Coast that go to making this idea nonsense.

Ok let me spell it out for you.

You're confusing nature with nurture. My question is about the way the brain works. Cultural influences have nothing to do with it.

You appear to be saying that there can't be differences in the way those three brain types work because you can't differentiate between the types, that, in effect, there are no types.Let's be absolutely clear- is thatwhat you're saying?

    ABC etc etc

    Your original question was -

"You appear to be basing your entire sneer campaign against Poet on the premise that there are no differences between the ways that negro, caucasian and oriental brains work. Is that what you really think?"

My original reply was "No, you're very wrong".

My sneer campaign, and it is just that, I'm very happy to admit, has nothing to do with differences between caucasian, negro or asian brain types. No mention was ever made by Poet or myself to that effect.

You're barking up the wrong tree, sniffing at the wrong pile of poo and generally getting it wrong.

I'd like to say, "Well dodged" but, well, it wasn't was it?

"nothing to do with differences between caucasian, negro or asian brain types" my arse. It most definitely was.

Now, with the benefit of Google, I take it you withdraw.

Hmmm I think you'll find that that was exactly what it was, and I stated that when I first writ what I did.

If you'd have actually read what I writ and what it was referring to, I'm sure you'd have understood far better and ceased with this nonsense.

    No really, stop it now.

Having googled and realised your mistake a simple withdrawal would have been less embarrassing and far more honorable. You really do underestimate people.

    No he didn't

He ascribed a character trait to all people from a certain group based entirely on their race. He mentioned nothing of brain types. That is an issue that you have brought up that had nothing to do with what he wrote.
