I thought he was very good for us, kept Colgan out of the team didn't he when Nick had been player of the year the season before. Obviously that was some years ago but surely if he went somewhere else and played 90 minutes regularly he would have potential. Obviously the fact he chooses to stay in the reserves at Chelsea and pick up the money rather than go and find himself regular first team football is another debate, but like I said having seen him for us I definitely wouldn't say he was *****.
Maybe my memory is letting me down then, like I said I'm sure I remember him keeping Colgan out and thinking that was the right decision at the time.
Yes he has done well for himself - Id say he was good enough to be a first choice championship keeper but he isnt prem class. I think Luke Steele is a better keeper
