Reading the official site they are saying that it is highly likely that we could lose both Colgan and Flinders to international duty on Oct 8th. Hopefully Ireland will do what they've done previously and let Colgan play if he's not likely to feature. But if they don't, do you think we'd ask for a re-arranged fixture?

Just wondering whether I should start sweating about the 8 non-refundable London-Sheffield train tickets I have bought for that game.

    Just been reading it...

"BARNSLEY FC could be facing a keeper crisis next month as another round of international matches come into view.
The Reds are almost certain to lose number one Nick Colgan for the match at Rotherham United on October 8 as the Republic Of Ireland face Cyprus in a vital World Cup Qualifier on the same day.

Barnsley could also be without back up keeper Scott Flinders as England's U20s are in action on Sunday October 9 when they entertain Holland at Burnley FC"

Sorry but sounds to me like they may be preparing to ask for a postponement.

Better give us plenty of Bloody notice if they do rearrange..

think you can change the train tickets for another dat, but it'll cost (can't remember if it's £5 or £10 per ticket), do you think the club will stump up the extra cost!!....thought not! we'll just have to use the tickets nad have a day out in Sheffield instead, that'll be nice.

They gave less than a week's notice when they postponed the Gillingham game. Was due to be on the Friday night and they announced the postponement the Saturday morning before.

It was Gillingham who requested the game to be postponed, not Barnsley...</p>
