Boycotting Elland Road this Saturday at been charged £45 quid a ticket. Was told today they have only sold a few hundred.not sure how true it is but Good on them a few hundred too many.
45 quid is criminal. Second division football should be nowhere near that - ANY division football shouldn't. Absolutely crazy. Hope this is true, and hope more clubs fans boycott it. Because they'll soon reduce the prices.
Read that Leeds offered them reciprocal pricing at 27£ and Rotherham turned it down . Not sure if it’s true though
Heard that 1 or 2 branches are charging as little as a quid transport. To ease the burden. Others boycotting by not taking busses.
It seems every time Rotherham have an away game where the price is high they boycott it. Didn't they do the same for the Wednesday away game?
https://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co....d-firm-in-leeds-united-ticket-protest-4495317 320 sold as of last week. Rotherham board should be ashamed of themselves. Instead of agreeing a price with Leeds, they picked to milk a huge away following for every penny they could. Now their own fans are deciding against backing the team in their biggest away game of the season.
All clubs who offer tickets at more than 20quid, especially more than 25, should be ashamed of themselves.
£2 difference between what Leeds asked for and what Rotherham charged hardly profiteering on a large scale. Not sure how that excuses Leeds charging nearly double either?
Honestly. I thought I'd read this thread before. It lasted longer than it usually does though. I got about three posts in before it vanished and gave me that awkward feeling that I tried to pacify with my Wednesday post. Maybe I'm turning into the oracle.
Rubbish view tòo, remembering going for the 0 0 game when Hassel was immense in holding midfield role. Cost me 100 quid ish for me and the 2 young uns. Got aggro for 90 minutes from the stewards for standing up so we could see. Irony 40 000 Leeds fans all stood up during the game, stewards trying to chuck BFC fans out for standing. Put me off going to away games with the kids for ages. Horrible stadium for away fans. Loved Preston North end.
I hated PNE away the last time I was there. The 1-1 draw when Potts scored. I was doused in lager by the bunch of idiots in the concourse. Stank of stale lager all the way home. The worst part was being stuck at Bradford Interchange for an eternity. Didn't get home until nearly midnight.
