Probably missed something but ... wht are they playing at Don Valley stadium now - permanent thing or temporary
RE: Probably missed something but ... the view was terrible. At least we gave them something to cheer about at the weekend, I don't begrudge them that.
League wants em back in Rovrum in 4 years just like they made Franchise FC move back to Wimbledon?
Two-faced tw@ts

temporary Ken booth (former chairman) who own's millmoor was making unreasonable demands (in their eyes) for them to continue playing there. He allegedly wanted free advertising boards, access to the club physio for him and his family, several free tickets to both home and away games as well as a box at the ground, a large fee each season, FA cup final tickets etc. This is what was reported anyway, as is always the case we can't be certain. Rotherham decided enough was enough and moved to don valley with the intention of returning to a purpose built stadium in Rotherham when possible. The football league are acting a little hypocritically here aren't they? They allowed wimbledon to move perminently to a different town and even change their name, badge and kit yet when dealing with rotherham they "want an assurance from the Millers that they will move back to the town within a four-year timeframe."
RE: temporary It's as certain as it can be they will move back to Rotherham in the 4 year time span. The council are going to build a community stadium for them and the rugby union club. A site adjacent to Aldwarke Lane, Parkgate is currently under consideration. Plans drawn up and everything. Even a little railway halt next to the ground.
That's the worst possible place to build a stadium It would be more congested than the road into Wembley
RE: That's the worst possible place to build a stadium Will be even more fun with the extension to the retail park that is also planned!
My mate accuses me of having more than one "second" club but I seriously hope that they can sort themselves out soon once and for all - that club has had enough **** to deal with in the last few years to last a lifetime.
