sheffield wednesday 26 million in debt not one point deducted, could anyone ask why that happened, i would soon have had wednesdays have minus 10 that rotherham anyday of the week
Wednesdays debt is so big that the bank will not call it in because if they went into admin there is a chance that they would not recover all the money they are owed. Thats why its the smaller clubs who are at risk because their debts are usually small and the banks/creditors can risk losing a small amount. Now if wednesday owed money in tax and couldn't pay it they would be really up the creek.
penalised clubs like leicester who went into admin , wiped 20 million quid of debt off in one swoop and still got promoted in the same season. something had to be done to protect every other club and stop football clubs going into admin as a way of effectivally cheating.
RE: Its the stupidist rule in the book! There is one rule more stupid than the admin rule and thats when a so called injured player has to walk off the pitch after treatment then to be waved back on! why?
Forgot to mention Coventry were £30 Million in the red before they moved grounds, still over £20 mil.
that's not the rule They have to leave the field of play to RECIEVE the treatment, it's just another case of referee's not having the balls to apply the rule properly. They bottle it every time and just make them walk off afterwards for one second and then come back on.</p>
