    Ryan confident Rovers can challenge for promotion
    Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan is still confident that the club can challenge for promotion this season.

    Rovers are only points above the League One relegation zone. However the chairman is backing manager Sean O'Driscoll to take them up the table.

    "We're in a false position, we're outplaying teams at times, we did at Bristol and Millwall and not coming up with the goods but it will change," said Ryan.

    "I have no doubt at all that we'll be up at the top by the end of the season, even though we are in a lowly position, we are in a totally false position.

    "Sean will get it right for us, I'm totally confident of that
