After listening to Don Rowing being asked about Flitcroft. I thought he was less than enthusiastic in the Interview. A matter of fact and casual. They have offered him a good Monetary deal. That depends on what Barnsley call good. He does not know whether it will be a fixed contract or a rolling contract. Nothing about backing him with x amount for players. He is contracted to end of May then he reverts back to assistant manager, but has been offered managers job.
This is typical Barnsley. Laid back, leave everything to Don. Come on Mr Cryne show us some support.
The David Flitcroft you signed to the end of May is not the same man you are dealing with now. He has been blooded and come up trumps. He could quite likely become on someone else's radar. He is not signed up yet. Flitcroft now holds all the Aces. He WANTS a fixed, at least Three to Four year contract. He needs financial backing. He holds your future in his hands. If he gets us promoted, you get 60million in bank.
Surely that should have you being a bit more enthusiastic.
The next two week should be interesting, but if you fail you will blow the club apart.
