    From skysports....

"It has been a great honour and privilege for me to play for Manchester United for over 12 years," said Keane on United's official website.

"During my time at the club, I have been fortunate to play alongside some of the best players in the game and in front of the best supporters in the world. At all times, I have endeavoured to do my best for the management and the team.

"Whilst it is a sad day for me to leave such a great club and manager, I believe that the time has now come for me to move on. After so many years, I will miss everyone at the club.

"I send my best wishes for the future to the management, players, staff and supporters of the club."

Biggest Tw*t ever to play in the premiership

Still cannot believe he wasn't banned for a very long time for his confession over the Haaland challenge.

Very good player without any shadow of a doubt. Biggest opinion of himself then any other player I've ever known. I do love the fact that Man U had their pinnacle in the premiership, europe etc without him though. That was justice for the Alfie Haaland challenge.

He's still very bitter about the team doing everything without him.

Oh no, I'm sticking to my guns.

Over the time The Premiership's been in existence, Roy keane has been its consistently all round best player.

Have that and bring it right on.

NB for all the hard of thinking. I haven't said 'most skilful'.

    I agree

I'm sure we could sign someone called Jesus from some Spanish lower division on free transfer. :)
