    I'm sure while I was int courthouse today I saw Ben Mansford in clandestine negotiations with Roy Race of Melchester Rovers and England fame.

    Not sure he's the same player after having his leg amputated but still better than Kennedy.

    As if League One players can afford such elaborate private plates, anyone turning up to training in anything newer than a 59 plate will be seen as a billy big ******

    I've heard the Race rumour too...at last a thread that's not fantasy!!...apparently Melchester are struggling to balance the books with the new fair play rules...though I did hear he'd been spotted at Bury yesterday.

    Oakwell supreme Danny Wilson today confirmed talks with Race "he has played for England won the league and European cup and whilst he's not as mobile as he was once what with the one leg and has been retired for years it was him or Marcus ******* Bent so there was no choice really"

    Wilson also confirmed the club were in advanced talks with Viz Comics Billy the Fish. Wilson said with his amazing reflexes and inability to kick he saw him as a straight replacement for Luke Steele.

    There are unconfirmed reports coming out of Oakwell that Billy Dane star of Billy's Boots is also being lined up by the mighty reds.
