Well Tina, he never showed, no sign of him all afternoon, thats the 7th time I've been in the exec box and the 1st time I have'nt seen GS, but speaking to people close to the club, it became very evident that tension exists between GS and PC, I heard again, the story of PC being asked to leave the boardroom, after offering monies for players, extremely bewildering, thats all I managed to glean I'm afraid.
Yes, I have heard that same gossip too. However, I got the Binoculars out and Cryne was sitting in his usual place next to Shepherd. Kept an eye open and nothing appeared to be untoward between them. Maybe it's al conjecture and rumour, who knows. I have been in the Exec Areas several times and yes, GS does always pop across and say 'Hello' to everyone, he's usually accompanied by his wife who is very pleasant. I hope whatever differences they may or may not be having are re solved asap as we all need to stick together.
It is not always Gordon Shepherd who visits the exec. area, the directors rotate it, sometimes it will be Barry Taylor and others Duncan Shepherd so nothing unusual in this. Owen
can't see a basis for this bit of gossip at all. especially, as i understand it, PC was offered a seat on the board a while back but he refused, preferring to allow GS to get on with it and him staying in the background. similarly, gossip re: PC offering cash to shepherd and shep refusing, again, thsi was from the summer, and PC said, he may be prepared to offer some more money if the perfect player came along. similarly, when GS took over, he was tasked with making the club self sufficient, using the buffer of some upfront cash from PC, if PC tasked GS with that job, it seems unlikely there would be any tension. i also saw GS and PC having a joke in the carparkl afterwards when they were both getting into their cars. once again, people make up stuff just to cause a bit of trouble. from where im sitting, seems absolute tosh.
Staggering, just that.
Nothing but utter contempt for overblown gossip and hearsay.
Facts I can deal with.... but this is just tripe.

Well, I stood near media boxes second part of first half and kept looking up into directors box Shep and PC were sat side my side in their usual seats and seemed to be having normal conversations Didn't look owt wrong to me No sign of captain birdseye I Gave Mr. Edward Gray a bit of stick tho
RE: Well, I stood near media boxes second part of first half and kept looking up into directors box He was probably sailing the seven seas with hoardes of young children looking for the finest fish and the crispiest batter.
I heard that PC wanted to sign a German shepherd dog but Gordon didn't hear him say 'German' and scrambled three fighter jets from RAF Leeming after punches were thrown
