I know it's not everyone's cup of tea and it has its issues, but I'll tell you what, in terms of effort, dedication and talent these lads embarrass footballers all day.

An average player is on around £20,000 to £30,000 per year if they are lucky, but they play as though they care. Despite the risks to their wellbeing now and in their later years.

Leeds Rhinos today were amazing and the effort, joy and camaraderie in that team really got me wondering what's happened to football.

I've really tried to get into Rugby League, but I do find it samey (terrible grammar, sorry) every game I watch pretty much seems like a carbon copy of the one before, that being said, you're spot on with the commitment and sheer effort, that cannot be faulted.

I love it when they take a hit, they'll do anything but show they've been hurt, where as footballers !!!!

Sorry mate, my good friends son used to play for them!!

We went to Headingley to see him play and they were fantastic with my boy. He's a Rhino now and so am I. They are just so good at being a fans club, giving a damm about their supporters and being grounded in their community.

Ummmmmmm, I wonder where football has gone wrong??

I’ve tried both rugby codes, not sure which bored me most. To be fair though I don’t even watch football these days unless it’s the reds
Warrington Leeds was my foray into RL and man it was boring

Rugby League really has to be experienced live to appreciate it fully. To stand by the perimeter wall, pint in hand, and see two brutes collide not 2 metres away, is an experience not to be missed. The earth moves and you can literally see the breath being knocked out of them. Those guys are lunatics. Heroes. Lunatics and heros.

Average PL player is around £70k a year, still a far cry from football though

I love League but can't watch Union, mainly because I don't understand the tactics of what there trying to do.
I always find most league games entertaining unless it's a thrashing.
