Imagine a game where every time there's a stoppage it results in a penalty for one side or the other and gamesmanship is rewarded by awarding the penalty, that's Rugby Union. A scrum was designed as a restart to a game, but now it usually results in a penalty, that then results in a score. What a stupid game! They need to change the rules yet again!

Can't watch it, e-red. Wouldn't class it as a good spectator sport at all.

Never played the game (not hard enough according to those that do...) but I wouldn't say watching it on tv enthused or inspired me to play. More of a cricketer myself.

One thing I would take from rugby and put into football are the refs. Arguing yellow card, swearing at the ref a red. Rooney would only play a quarter of a season!

Mike the Refs up, that would make footballers think about arguing with the ref.
