    on 5 tonight at 11.30. Ali v Foreman from 1974, rope-a-dope and all that. I have got it on DVD and can vouch for it being well worth a watch. If only to see "The Greatest" at his best.

    He was not at his best mate!

    His best was a good few years before that, but it was an awesome feat to take on a monster like Foreman was in his peak.
    Ali`s tactical brain was second to none, for me he was the most complete athlete there has ever been.
    No-one will ever get close to him as a fighter, the speed of a middleweight combined with the strenghth of a heavy.
    The man lost the best years of his career through his refusal to enlist , if he had been able to fight during that time one can only dream about what might have been.
    He was and is a man of great principles, but he was also a man that could be very spiteful and nasty.
