    Not saying they have, because I don’t think they have, but it would be quite clever to spread this rumour for a short time and then do an official statement saying they have actually furloughed them as everyone was complaining last week saying football clubs shouldn’t use government money to furlough non playing staff.

    I’m reading that as saying anyone on a zero hours won’t get anything.
    Not an expert on the furlough thing and zero hours but would have thought at best government would only pay an average worked(like holidays).

    If my assumption is correct as bad as it is for the staff it’s not realistic for a business to pay out when they can’t claim back.
