Another great win today, fair play, you've got some momentum going there. It was looking a bit of a task for Barnsley a couple of weeks ago tbh, but that's all turned around and you've reeled the clubs above in - they'll be feeling the pressure now & looking over their shoulders, keep it up! I'd love to give you a helping hand by spanking the Wurzels next week
Don't suppose u went to Hudds today? 3 coach loads of Cardiff fans were in my village this lunchtime. The landlord even had Wales flags flying from his pub. tsk......
As Spider said, you're doing alright yourselves. How you going to mess it up this time? It'll take some doing.
No, couldn't make it - whilst all ny usual football mates went, some idiot had to work in the morning. Our lot are pretty resourceful & often phone ahead to "book" a pub en route - unless the landlord is an exiled Taff of course!
Yup, we're doing just fine. Doing just about enough to win games without playing that well - but always feel that we could go up a couple of gears if needed.
Don't think even we could mess it up this time tbh - but you never know. In recent seasons we've had a good starting XI but have struggled when injuries & suspensions kick in - usually around this time of the year. Last year we also had the extra fixtures from reaching the Carling Cup final - we were out on our feet at the end of the season. This year we've had major players injured for long periods - Craig Bellamy, Ben Turner, Tommy Smith, Nicky Maynard (still) etc, but have coped without them & still have strength on the bench. Think that'll see us through tbh. To my mind, we have to win 7 out of the last 16 - and that should be do-able (we've won 20 out of 30 to date). 48 points left to play for & we need less than 2 points/game if my guess is right. We'd need major relegation form to mess it up - and that's assuming at least two others are winning regularly.
