Suddenly getting a runtime error on various sites, preventing me from goin abart me business.

I've looked at updating and downloading Java but it keeps tellin me I need to lower my security settings.

Is this advisable, and if so, why am I suddenly having this problem?

    Cheers.

mmm. Try Windows defender. Failing that either:

look at event viewer and see what that says about the run time error. You might be able to send a fault report through to Microsoft and get online analysis.

Run Windows Update and install owt there.

After that, wait for someone else on here!!
