Rush at Newcastle two weeks today. Can't Wait. Then Sheffield, Birmingham and MEN Arena. So who's going where. I know they are a few Rush fans on this board.
Quite a fan eh?! Seeing them 4 times on the tour. I'm going to Sheffield, finally received the ticket last week.
I'll be at Sh***ield, October 6th. 4 of us travelling down, making a day of it and staying over.
Really looking forward to it; last saw them two years ago at Manchester so I can almost guarantee it will be a top night !

RE: Quite a fan eh?! When you say "finally received them" did you have to chase them ? When did you order ?
I ordered on release date and after a few weeks started panicking so they have issued me with a number I have to present at ticket office one hour prior to kick-off. I'm a bit wary of that .........

RE: Quite a fan eh?! Didn't chase them Ordered when they initially went on sale, they arrived last Friday. You should be ok if you've had some reissued....I had that for Goo Goo Dolls at Sheffield City Hall a couple of months ago, I hadn't recieved them the day before gig so phoned and they said they'd been sent the previous Thursday (gig was Tuesday) so said to call following day if still not received when I got home that evening. They hadn't been delivered so then I called them on day of gig and they arranged for a duplicate to pick up at venue. Got home that evening to find they had been delivered!
Im going but still got a spare ticket Block 119 Row B. Got my ticket quickly after they were advertised on the official site as being on pre-sale if you had the password. Phoned the Arena and got them about a week later. Anybody interested in the spare?
"and the men who hold high places must be the ones who start"
sheffield here I come.
last timeI saw them was in the Queens Hall, Leeds. Crushed two from the front and the bloke in front of me had an afghan coat on (remember them?), stunk like a dead sheep.

you seemed to follow me round in those days arnside knebworth, queens hall, not from the hoyland area by any chance??
or is just a case of us both having the same good taste in music

nah, always lived in Arnside but was a student in Leeds at the time so saw most gigs esp at the uni where i was a steward, Andy Kershaw off radio 1 was the chief steward
must be good taste then what I remember of the leeds place was that it just seemed like a big aircraft hanger with astage plonked at one end.
anybody further than 5 rows back wouldn't have had a prayer of seeing anything
