Both careers should be over, both are talentless tw@ts...... humour that appeals to people that lack the intelligence for clever wit, again dumbed down content from the BBC showing that the standard of it's veiwers is dropping leaving the rest of us to watch and listen to the same crap that the soap opera loving retards enjoy, I hope they both fade into obscurity and seriously hard times and Wossy's missus leaves him like she's threatened to do on more than one occassion. *******.
RE: Both careers should be over, both are talentless tw@ts...... I don't find them funny, but 18,000 complaints? Some people should get out more.
The whole thing has been such a ridiculous overreaction.... Its the media jumping on something that isn't the financial crisis and keeping it going for their own sake, to sell papers. There were only 2 complaints before the Mail stuck their self-righteous hypocritical two-penneth in. By the way, without trying to be all 'cleverer than tho' about things, there are quite a few of us at our fairly high ranking university department who are fans of Russell Brand's podcasts, just in response to the suggestion that his stuff is for thickos...
And there were 2 'real-time complaints' after the show. 17,998 have come after. It's like me watching a re-run of Monty Python and complaining to the BBC for Mrs ******baiter.
that is the worst part of it constantly quoting the high number of complaints when obviously many have come since the media hype started yes it was over the line but it has been blown out of all proportion, a sincere apology should suffice (although apparently Brand has yet to even offer this) but certainly Wossy has
Oh, what they did was fine then eh? get a fecking grip..... can you imagine how the Sach's family feel?
Do you think it's an overreaction? As part of a BBC radio programme the pair phoned up a 78 year old and taunted him that Brand had shagged his granddaughter. It wasn't just a **** joke on air that Sachs could switch off, they actually phone him up and left messages on his answer machine. Well out of order in my opinion and behaviour that is certainly worthy of dismissal.
don't forget although it's not appropriate for radio his grand-daughter is apparently no saint; she is a burlesque performer among other things
Andrew Sachs and for that matter no one should have to listen to that *****...... he's 78 yrs old for god's sake, it's one thing to broadcast the material, an apology might suffice, but, to leave messages on his answering machine is infantile and unforgivable.
You do know about the granddaughter in question? She is a performer in a group called the 'Satanic Sluts'. Check out their website. She is not an innocent damsel in distress. Having said that, when I first listened to it, I did think it crossed a bit of a line, and yes, the pair of them should apologize. But this reaction is just weird, feels a bit like "Look at the sweary rude men, look, look at them, they were nasty to an old man...what recession? Don't know mate, I was haranguing them blokes on the radio".
Sack them both save a lot of brass on the license fee. Might help pay for some decent programmes (doh) (doh) (doh)
Just about anything goes for me usually If you don't like what's on TV, radio or the internet then switch it off. Dead easy. But I draw the line at actually phoning people up to abuse them. That is bang out of order.
