    Am I right in thinking he was linked with us before Keith Hill was appointed manager? I seem to remember it sparking howls of derision on here and I have to admit I wasn't keen on the idea.
    What a fantastic job he's done at Orient though. I think it's been said that he hasn't spent a penny on a player, all his signings have either been out of contract players or on frees.
    The two games I've seen against Peterborough they have looked a very capable outfit. Slade has done an outstanding job.

    Yes, he was linked with us at that time. After we went with Hill Orient had a rocky patch, but he's certainly pulled it round.

    Yes he was linked and while he has done a fantastic job this season you need to look at his overall record as a manager and based on that I don't think he is a manager I'd fancy for the BFC job if it was to become available.

    I can remember reading that he gets a percentage of the fee of all players he sells which doesn't sit easy with me.
