Stunning second goal from the Dutchman and I immediately thought of DB's wonderful strike against Udders. Similar in many ways but I think Darren's was more difficult to execute. Crackers though, both of them

However as its RVP sky will ***** all over it... Barnards simply brushed under the carpet

I haven't seen the goal but I think I can safely say it's not as good as Barnards.

on first view and without the barnsley blinkers on i thought RVP's was right up there, straighter ball coming over his shoulder and dropping, barnards was a more diagonal ball and he had a longer time to see it and time his strike....

having said that if a big name player had scored barnards of course we would still be seeing the replays now

He was world class in comparison to some of the dross we signed in the ensuing years! Alex Neil, Steve Hayward, Gary Jones...
