Want to get this one done asap before someone else swoops in I reckon, he looks some player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm not too fussed about this one. He seemed to split the opinion of Coventry fans when his loan ended there. Many are criticising Isgrove for his lack of end product, which seems to be the same criticism that Kent received from Coventry. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Is Nixon the only sports journalist to report who he thinks Barnsley might be signing? He appears to be the only one quoted.
To be fair to the guy he never gets much wrong, he's just replying to fans questions half the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm not just talking Barnsley related, although he did say we we're always in pole position for Bradshaw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I read this morning that Wigan were likely going to have to turn down loaning one of Liverpool's players as Liverpool specify that any loanee must start at least 75% of games. See link below - could this be a stumbling block? http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...erpool-insisting-playing-clause-loan-11641458
Holgate Hammill Brownhill Isgrove Fletcher Bradshaw Moncur Just to name a few he's got right, plus hundreds more for other sides. But yeah according to some on here he knows nothing...
He's only made six tweets about BFC in 12 months then? He's made more than that in the last month and got most wrong.
But how many of those were Nixon exclusives or just players who's been talked about on forums like Thi for days if not weeks before, only difference with him is he has a platform to print his "exclusives" to a wider audience
He tweeted about bradshaw well before we even bid, that's when the rumours first came about. The guy knows his stuff, that's clear to see.
Somebody ask Nixon how the Conor transfer to Wigan is progressing. Or the Gavin Massey to Barnsley transfer. Or the Stuart Bannigan transfer. Or the Fletcher to Leeds transfer. Low quality "clubcall" journalism.
Although i'm always a little bit skeptical of his tweets, transfers change all the time. Conor could have been going to Wigan but decided against it. Bannigan could have been coming here but it fell through. Nobody knows, he's only reporting what he hears.
Absolutely. Which is why I'd rather believe the tweets from local journalists who are close to the club (and speak to PH) rather than a national journalist filling column inches.
Can't blame him if the deals don't go through pal, he just tweets the rumours or what he's heard. People don't have to believe them or disbelieve them, or even take notice of them haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
