Has just came on for Freiburg. Be interesting to see if he can put his Barnsley experience to good use.

Having not used it for 10 years, I've now decided I quite like the ignore function.

After 2770 posts and 5 likes it seems like everyone is pretty much ignoring him anyway.

Harvey barnes has been more productive in a hand full of appearances than Kent was in over 40 says it all really.

So if you weren't too impressed with ryan Kent and you think our wingers at the minute are better your a happy clapper. Ok. Could you tell me what kent did what was so great? He played in one of our best sides for many year and struggled to make any great impact for me yeah he could run fast with a football and take a man on that's where it ended for me. I'm not saying he won't have a decent career but his time at oakwell was nothing special.

Kent was ok - looked really dangerous at times, especially towards the end of last season.

...but he didn’t score any or set any up. Look at Barnes already this season, he’s scored as many. Much better player.
Hammill has set plenty up for us, but yeah he isn’t scoring any more so I can understand maybe wanting Kent over him. Hammill brings much more to the team and the club though with his experience, quality deliveries and the fan hero status!

Kent will go further than Hammill ever did or Isgrove, Barnes or Hedges will do in the game. Absolutely no question.

Second half of last season he was by far and away our best player, no one came close. If he was from Barnsley and came through our academy he'd be best thing since sliced bread, you know a little like that Stones lad who's massively overhyped.

And his greediness? Cost us yet again a clear goal scoring opportunity on Saturday because everything has to be about Adam
hammill. I get the feeling he's the kind who'd rather lose 3-1 and him score a worldie than win a game 1-0 and him not score.

How on earth is Stones overhyped? He’s been absolutely slaughtered for having a shaky first season at City despite the manager & most people who have a clue about football realising that the bigger issues were the goalie & full backs.

If anything he’s under rated. Been superb this season & barely gets any praise, the minute he ***** up he gets slaughtered, even gets slaughtered when it’s his team mates mistakes like when he played against Barca last season.

Kent’s a promising talent that lacks end product, I hope he does well as he was a grafter for us.

In terms of comparing him to Barnes etc he was more suited to us last season because we were set up to play on the counter attack & him & Marley’s pace on the wings were a big asset. I don’t think Barnes would’ve suited us as much last season as he does this.

At the end of the day though, no one can honestly say he did that well for us when he got so few goals & assists despite playing virtually every game & for half of the season playing in a very good side.

Stones is overhyped? By who? Seems like he gets slated by Match of the Day if he's ever out of position or misses something, but his week in week out consistency for City is ignored - ask any City fan if he's overhyped this season.
