Have we signed him to play left wing back in place of Golbourne?
Everything I can find about him suggests he's a midfielder. With Dawson due back in a couple of weeks I'd have thought we have plenty of options in central midfield?

Flitcroft has said he will be bringing a LB in next week. Tunnicliffe is a midfielder. Nice to have quality options. We will have 2 games a week for a while soon, we will need the numbers, keep people fresh.

Hes a midfielder, If we are to play three midfielder at once we will need for midfielder.

Rory Delap or Jim O'Brien could go across to right back or right wing back and Wiseman could move across to left wing back if needed. Barnsley also have Mcnlty who could quite easily play let back but not left wing back imo until Flitcorft wins someone he would like to bring in and a player that would be available to come here.

I reckon Delap should go to LWB. He has played there before. He swung that cross in for Daggers goal with his left. He is vastly experienced. It's the best option IMO. Wiseman can stay at RWB or if it is a true RWB position then O'Brien isn't a bad shout.

I have read that his preferred role is defensive midfield but is secondary choice is right full back, so is he to replace Stones who won't now be coming if we are to believe what we hear?

I'd pick Bobby Hassell at RWB.

I'd have Bobby as wing back too or possibly slot Bobby in back 3 and push Craine into wing back.

There is no chance bobby Hassell will play as wing-back, forget it.

Let's just leave the tactics and formation to Mr Flitcroft - apart from the first 15 minutes against Wolves (which he quickly rectified) he has got it spot on.
