These posts remind me of the drawings I used to do at school. “Do you like me. Tick yes or no”

I don't think he has the tactical nous to deliver what's needed for us, as our home form this season has shown. Unfortunately, I've seen little of the totally different version of him that's delivered a record-breaking away tally of points.

Saying that, there's no benefit to changing manager now and he's earned the right to see out the season. There's still an outside chance that we get through the play-offs.

I think wherever we finish this season is likely the peak of what I feel he can deliver for BFC. I can't say I feel particularly inspired by the prospect of another season with him in charge. No doubt he's a hard working, honest and dedicated individual, but I feel we'll continue to tread water under him, and eventually regress.

That said, I hope he gets us promoted, but I'm struggling to see it happening.

Tell you something LiverpoolRed this board is becoming more and more like Owlstalk.I used to read the S6 board quite a lot, sometimes to wallow in there demise, sometimes for the laughs and sometimes to see how the other half live. All the above is now on the BBS which I find quite sad.

We shouldn't forget that we have loads of players from lower leagues and they are still learning.
Like it or not, so is the manager. This was the boards decision and I don't think they'll pull the plug before it's certain that their gamble has failed. And nor should they really, he was never going to take the league by storm and what with the lack of experience everywhere in the club he's probably done okay.
Must admit, I 'm not enjoying the performances though.

Can’t vote to sack him now but if the season continues to fall away like I fear it will he has to go in the summer.
Problem is I have no faith that the next head coach will get the support he’ll need recruitment wise.
Half a dozen of our best players will be off and we’ll be left with a lop sided squad seriously lacking in quality. It’s not a job that many would relish taking on.
Think we’re destined for a long stay in the third tier…..

No. Mostly because I don't see where a decent replacement comes from.

    And no, Warnock isn't it.

61% voted no, so it's a vocal minority on here.

I'm not sure it's that straight forward. I think there are a number (possibly myself included) who are looking at it a little pragmatically.

After the last three home games (and the performances in a number leading up to that spell) I don't think I'd bat an eyelid if the board did pull the trigger. I'm not someone who thinks we should be walking the division. I don't believe we're better than finishing somewhere in the top 8. But I do believe that we should be fuck1ng attacking teams at home, particularly those who are beatable. I do believe that it's not unreasonable to expect to be entertained when I attend matches, whether that be because we've played fluent, attacking football or simply because we've put some effort in - winning is not everything (though it does carry some importance).

My concern is that we can't continually chop and change. It doesn't help and it costs time and money to get the new guy up and running. There's no point bringing in Warnock to the end of the season. If he gets us up then what? He gets a one year deal that will be expensive and will still see us getting beat every week.

I don't know anymore. I'm resigned to us undertaking rebuild after rebuild with little to no progress. I don't think I understand the board's long term strategy (if there is one) beyond buy low, sell high. But no-one who watched that game yesterday will be able to point to any player, with the exception of maybe Connell, that is likely to be sold for any decent fee. Half that side will leave on a free, a further 30% will return to their parent clubs and what's left just isn't going to attract a fee on recent performances.

The atmosphere in the ground doesn't help. But then it's not really going to build an atmosphere when the football mirrors the Simpsons episode...

Its an impossible question to answer really...
Do we stick with what we've got (Collins), who has got us here in the first place, and surely he does deserve the chance of seeing out the season.
Or do we take a massive risk (and sack him, and appoint somebody else) which might not work out after all, and it might cost us more financially etc.

Voted no. I'm not a fan of his tactics and style of play but it would be insane to sack him right now.
