Buy some 'proven' championship players, appoint a new manager, preferably McCarthy or curbishley, let the fans in for two quid a game, and tell the fans exactly what the club are gonna do before they do it. Bound to be a success. Everyone on here says so.

How so tarntyke? I need to get a grip? It can't be argued that there aren't a lot of people on here who need a large dose of reality. I don't claim to be an authority on any subject, but I'd love to know how you see my post as being as bad as the negative posters - I'm hardly claiming we're premier league bound with dillusional optimism. I recognise that we will be in the lower part of table next season. Probably amongst the favourites to go down. I don't, however, see how this is necessarily a disaster for a club the size of ours. I'd much rather support Barnsley FC in league one again then the club go bust and start from scratch.

The ones that moan a lot are far far fewer than the others yet it is the ones that are not happy just to win every 6 or 7 weeks that gget picked on! More moaning about moners than actual moaning , in reallity.
You used the word everybody and generalise. You chase after every 'negative' post. Not all criticises think we'll go down, Including myself. However, if you think the manager and players should be free from criticism since the turn of the year, then you are deluded. I'm fed up of the 'a club our size *****' there are 11 v 11 on the pitch and the opposition should at least know they been in a game, sadly that hasn't happened all too often since the new year. Competing on the pitch with a positive mental attitude isn't too much to expect, Indeed its the very least.
