when fans of 40 years think about severing their connection with BFC and all they get is criticism and abuse.
No matter how the tickets had been sold, the same number would have missed out. And they would all consider themselves lifelong supporters who deserved a ticket.
Exactly, as annoying as I imagine it is for those people who have missed out, had it not been them it would have been other lifelong fans. Unfortunately some people were always going to be left disappointed, but hey, you win some you lose some.
I was gutted when I didn't get an away ticket at Anfield ... but I would never consider throwing away 30 years of supporting my team. My mates panicing now about Everton tickets for a possible UEFA cup final ticket .. they get something stupid like 17,000 tickets for 30,000+ season ticket holders. Now that will cause problems especially as the game is in Manchester
i was gutted to be given a voucher and told to come back tue for my liverpool ticket and finding out they had all been sold on the 1st day but i still went and watched the big tellie at oakwell even though it was on inthe local pubs so i left my chelskie tickets while saterday and was there all of 15 minutes and cane away with 2 both for me and my son who both have sts all this shat about i have done with bfc is tripe once a fan and your hooked for life i am anyway st holder for 17/18 years and followed them for a lot more just buying tickets my son is 14 and he has had a st for 8 years what would i tell him go support rotherham dont think so
So if we did beat Chelsea they will all choose to shop around Meadowhall that day rather than going to Wembley? Yeah sure.
