If this comes through, id love to see unused half of weststand made into a safe standing area.

Will not happen in that part of ground too close to away fans and we sometimes use it for away fans.

Me 2, being in a packed terrace is brilliant! Love standing at rugby league, the east stand at Hull KR down the side were I go is fantastic!

Although, I prefer being behind the goal at football!

Yer, but i think ponty will be too steep for safe standing, plus why have it for away fans when you can fill it with home fans, it will attract a lot more people to come, and should bring ticket prices down, will that side of the west stand be used, wednesday didnt take it.

The un-used bit of the West would be ideal, sod Wednesday and the likes in future, I don't want away fans in that bit now as well as the north. Gives them to much of a support over us for the sake of a few extra grand! 3 points is more important!

Guaranteed we would fill it with standing, and i recon gate would rise by about 2000, might bring back a little atmoshpere aswell.

By what logic do you deduce that

by having a safe standing area our gate would increase by 2000 ? just dont see it

With standing comes lower ticket prices, with that comes bigger attendance.

I agree, we should never let the away fans take more than the North Stand. It is already a generous allocation. What does it hold 6000? It is bad enough that the players have to get changed under the away support.

But lots dont attend because they dont want to pay a ridiculous amount or just cant afford it?

After a quick search, all i can find is that they refused to get rid of it yet no action was taken.

    Cardiff Standing prices

Visitors £22 Home fans (popular terrace £16.00 ) match day prices Cant see that bringing many more in. There would be a transfer from Ponty end but not all that many new customers, we might even loose revenue

You cant compare there prices to ours, they look at paying £32 in the vast majoirty, so £16 is half of that, apply that to our prices it goes down to £10-11.

Tory government closed half our ground down because it wasn't seated

    One rule for one

Double standards. Anything to do with them being Welsh?
