Czech midfielder Mario Licka is on trial at Southampton
Saints will continue to look at Licka
Southampton will extend Czech midfielder Mario Licka's trial after he played in a friendly at Bristol City.

Licka, 24, is out of contract at FC Slovacko and after receiving international clearance to play impressed Saints boss George Burley.

Burley told Saints website: "It gave us a chance to look at Mario, who showed good energy and worked hard.

"He's a free transfer so we'll keep looking at him, we need a couple of players in to give us depth.



i have also heard that they're after the porteguse reserve keeper, Quim.

Licka Quim should be a decent combination.
