don't judge too quickly, he might be wanting to learn how to make a pepper based dip or something.

this new BBS is posting stuff in the wrong place. I think it's trying to work too quickly.

    Is salsa pepper based?

I would have said tomato based. Or maybe Mexican based. Or bowl based.

Thinking about it Jay, you're probably right about the tomato base, but it's still confusing and is presumably why tykebloke is interested in salsa classes. That said, I always thought that the spicy/tangy edge came from peppers, whereas you're suggesting it's mexicans. But then you're mainly a racist.

Mrs Revvie used to do it a couple of years ago

A place off Summer Lane in Barnsley.
This is the phone number she's given me.

    You are both half right

Salsa : cookery - a spicy Mexican sauce, made with tomatoes, onions, chillies and oil.

There who needs classes for that - all you need is an encyclopaedic dictionary

I like the way yo go to great lengths

to make clear you were not involved

Not sure I'd be comfortable with my Mrs gyrating with blokes dressed in spandex to Latin rhythms without some supervision though - dont the girls wear very skimpy outfits - think I'd be going to watch :)

    Hehe

Women outnumbered men by 3 to 1 on her course so she spent most of her time gyrating with other women!! If I wasn't blessed with 2 left feet and square ones at that, I'd have happily joined in [img=http://www.freewebtown.com/cr0magnus666/Blog/Emoticons/devil.gif] Dancing, however, is not something I was blessed with natural aptitude for.
