... just got a namecheck on the Rangers v Aberdeen game on Sky tv. Apparently he's been Aberdeen's seasonal top scorer (17 in 2018/9?) and his record is now under threat. Is this the same one we've got?
The one and only. Must be a goal scorer some where within him. Just needs to believe in himself. Work hard occupy defenders and the goals will come. Offers alot more than Watters when he is on the pitch
Having watched Hearts v Aberdeen the other week, the standard there isn't great considering I was watching the 3rd best team in the country. League 1 at best. Lawrence Shankland looked a class act though. I'm surprised nobody from the Championship has come in for him. And yet in the Belgian league he struggled. Make of that what you will. Edit - just checked and Bojan Miovski is on 20 already this season in a very poor Aberdeen side. He had a beautiful strike harshly ruled out by VAR and got in some excellent positions throughout the game. On the flip side of things he looks like he's running in treacle when he's got the ball. I reckon a top end Championship side on top of their game would beat Hearts comfortably.
He needs a run of games I think but he's unlikely to get one. He should be first change starting or off the bench if Cole or McAtee are unavailable/replaced. Baffles me when Collins uses Watters before him.
