http://www.shropshirestar.com/sport...class-says-shrewsbury-town-boss-micky-mellon/ Came through with Digby, Clark, Rose, Stones.
Good player but was never really close to our first team. Good luck to him though. Shrewsbury ought to be renamed Barnsley B
Yeah agreed, its good to see these lads making it. Makes us an attractive proposition for any young scholar knowing that they have the chance of making it with a professional club.
Exactly right. Man Utd fans will be happy with the signing of Holgate because he came from the same academy as Stones. Gives us a good reputation
Don't forgot when they announce the signing it'll not be saying Welcome to Man Utd Mason!' it'll be 'sign Reus, Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Ramos' Oh and the MancehsterUnitedFanPage2k15 twitter accounts
I saw a comment earlier on Facebook from some random foreigner along the lines of, "Why did we only win 1-0? I would be happy with maybe 3-0 GGMU" Laughing.
This is why I'm glad I support little old Barnsley, although the odd "I love Barnsley from xxxxx" has been creeping in recently too. I like reading the comments on the Manchester United Facebook page so I can play "spot the Englishman" 5 points for a Southerner, 50 points for an actual Mancunian
Proper Man Utd fans go on Ref Cafe forum and have followed the progress of Pearson at Barnsley all last season and discussed this seasons loan. likewise most of their young players. If they signed Holgate that would be the place to keep an eye on how he was doing http://www.redcafe.net/search/19208542/?q=Holgate&o=date There tend to have nothing but good words about Barnsley, shame some on here can't wait to slag them off
From my limited viewing of Pattterson I thought he may be one to go onto better things. Always impressed me.
Yeah I remember watching him in the academy and he looked like he had the required technique and work rate. Fair play to him for coming back after the set back of being released.
