Not read anything to say he is definitely out. Just suggestions that he is a doubt. Can we get a result without him tomorrow? Watkins n Fletcher up top?
Hecky intimated not likely. Swollen ankle didn't allow positive diagnosis on injury. I think we can still go into this game with clean sheet priority. And maybe Fletcher lead the line? be a good challenge for him? Connor more advanced too? it's a match to be won, lost or drawn. If that's not too ambiguous.
Id keep the same formation as previous weeks, marley up top with fletcher. Isgrove and chapman on wings. Smith in at left back if bree's out.
Stick to 4-4-2, Williams to right back, Connolly at left, Mawson and Roberts in the middle. Midfield of Scowen-Brownhill-Hourihane-Chapman and Fletcher and Watkins up top.
Winnall being out could save our season. Get Ryan Williams in and we could go on some kind of unbeaten run Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would like Smith to come in at left back and put Connolly on the bench. Play Hourihane and Scowen in the middle of midfield with Chapman on one wing and Isgrove on the other. Fletcher and Watkins are the obvious choices up front but Fletcher needs to be better from the start than what he was like at Crewe.
Connolly in for Bree, and Chapman in for Winnall (if injured). Put Marley up top with Fletcher. That's what I'm hoping for.
Davies Williams Mawson Roberts Smith Isgrove Hourihane Brownhill Chapman Fletcher Watkins But Ive never got a starting line up correct in 20 years
George Williams came as a right back but looks far more comfortable at left back so I would leave him there. I like George Smith, but in the last match he showed a reluctance to go forward on occasions when it merited it and he went backwards instead (a bit like before he went on loan). I always thought that he used to do it because of a lack of movement up front and did not wish to lose the ball, so I gave him the benefit of the the doubt then. However, its beginning to look like a trait that he needs coaching out of. He can be very effective going forwards as he as shown.
