A number 9 who works hard, in fact gives everything, loves the club, is pleased to be here and scores goals.

Can't really ask for anymore than that.

A lad prepared to work hard to make the most of his talent - love his honesty.
    What more can you ask?

In all my years of watching Barnsley, I think today was only the second hat trick I've seen scored by a Barnsley player in the FA Cup. The other was by Brian Joicey in November 1976 when we beat Boston FC 3-1.
    I think.

Did Andy Rammell get one against West Ham in the early 90's?

Oh aye. We beat West Ham 4-1 that day.
I've got the memory of a goldfish.

I wasn't sure if it was a hat trick or a brace

The good thing is he's not the only one, finally seems to be a bit togetherness at the club, they all seem happy to be here and get on.

Even the loanees have fit in well. we spent years getting loan players in who dont give a ****. Then suddenly we get 5 players on loan all at once who seem to want to do well for us

Pretty certain it was Hignett with Dyer scoring a volley.

Another hat trick I'd forgotten! Although, wasn't it Craig Hignett?
Nevertheless, that's another two I'd forgotten about. I think I ought to stop drinking this red grape juice!:D

I'm not surprised, you do right. I'm going to drown my embarrassment in another bottle of red grape juice. :D

That was the one that immediately sprung to my mind. Magical FA Cup day. Bright sunshine and freezing swirling wind. We adapted to the conditions far better than West Ham and absolutely murdered them.

And he's only 23, probably nowhere near his peak.

He's proving to be a very shrewd investment

Sam actually played for Burton on loan in 2011.
