I've criticised him, saying should be dropped, sold etc. Oh how wrong I am and I'm glad! Keep it up Sammy!
I know how you feel. He is largely gash outside the box, but there is an art to finishing, and being in the right place to be able to finish. And the game is all about doing what he does. So I should keep quiet. Well done SSW.
Lets be honest he's been ****ing woeful lately in his overall play. But that doesn't matter when you bag for fun! Keep it up Sam!
I like our balance right now. Sam and Marley work very well together. Interesting how Sam has been on fire in front of net and also not been caught offisde during his good spell. When he is off form he looks a yard slow, offside and his first touch suffers. Not today. Great tactic to bring Fletcher on and push Marley wide. Allows Isgrove to run himself into the ground for 65 Mins.
Agree, was a bit worried with Williams on the left but it didn't seem to phase him and we kept our balance.
Seems like Williams has learnt from his mistake at Chesterfield. He didn't hesitate with any ball and simply cleared it. Also i think the loan did him good and he has kept his head down worked hard. Performances like that from Bree and Williams and with Smith improving out on loan we could have some good cover & competition where i thought we were weak.
He thinks the same if you speak to him. Says hes got a lot of tidying up to do but really happy hes scoring.
We all knew Sam couldn't play as the main striker or up on his own, but we all knew that he is fantastic playing off a bit man, now LJ has finally got this in to his early stubborn head we are now flying. Brilliant Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I like seeing Fletcher coming on with 30 mins to go and really worrying the tired opposition. Not sure he'd have the same impact against fresh players. (I've been wrong loads of times before, so feel free to raise this point when he starts a game and scores a shed-load.).
yes it is brilliant and if Lee was just trying it out to see if it worked fair enough you dont know if you dont try. but lets hope he never tries it again because its a serious waste of Winnall, who is clearly one of our best ever players.
