Pretty much the same team. Same level of crapness. You'd have to be deluded to expect anything else.

You are not allowed to say those things mate

Dirk will have a go at you for it.

Are you sure Potter, Hammill, Butterfield & Bogdanovic didnt start last season!!!! Believe Barnsley have got the players to stay in the division, but for the first time believe its the manager that has to be replaced!!!

They were all here last season mate.

Hammil was on loan, Boggy signed Jan. Butterfield and Potter were in reserves.

Potter, Hammill, Butterfield & Bogdanovic were all at Barnsley last season

It's probably an inferior team to last season as we're having to play young inexperienced players like Butterfield and Potter instead of seasoned pros.

I drove over 200 miles to watch the game this evening.

    200 miles.
Got stuck behind the accident on the A1.
Took me nearly 5 hours to get to Oakwell - just to watch the 2nd half.

Unlike other folk on here - I actually thought we tried quite hard.
The problem being - no matter how hard a plumber tries to do neuro-surgery - he's going to be w4nk at it.

    Agree with Jay Homoflair.
We ate a **** sandwich every week last season.
We've turned up this season & **** sandwiches are on the menu again, so why would they taste any better?

    I'm very tired.

    Exactly.

Worse team than last year. Me and mate were on about how bare the team is looking when we have to have 2 young uns in the starting line up. Then more young uns on the bench. Then we looked at who we had on the pitch then who we had on the bench, then who else we had to come in? Kozluk (liability), Colace, Halffredson and Thompson.
Oh, we're still after Andy Gray though.
    Down this season folks.

And we're having to name a bench of FOUR strikers and two wingers

plus a goalkeeper. No cover at all for the four defenders or two central midfielders. No cover at all thanks to one man. simon fecking davey

    Thanks Dirk

    A very honest assessment.
    Who can argue with it?
