Same Prices For Us? (FA Cup 3rd Round Replay)

A date for Southend United's 3rd Round FA Cup replay against Barnsley has already been set.</p>

<span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">Following the Blue's somewhat contentious 1-1 draw with Barnsley this afternoon, Steve Tilson's side now face a trip to the Tykes Oakwell home.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">United will make the long trip North on Tuesday 16th January, kick-off 7.45pm, as the Blues look to progress into the fourth round.</span></p>

Bloody hope not, I would like to see the ground filled up more! Would have tried as far as £5 & £1. Esp if we get a good draw and offer some sort of vocher system!!

 

Someone posted yesterday and apparently its a FA regulation that the minimum charge at the 3rd round is £15.

But that's because they were playing a big club from a higher division to them!

 

Southend have to be agreeable to what we charge because they get half of the gate money. By charging a fiver we would have to guarantee that the reduction would more than treble the attendance. It aint going to happen.

I Understand That.........

the site says 2,600 and adults 12 pound. I was on about the extra 500 they got for another part of a stand which cost more for the extra fans to come spare of the moment. So we are both right technically speaking. I hope the Southend replay is a tenner and i reckon Southend would agree with reduced prices.
