    Can anyone recommend somewhere local to take a group of kids to see Santa? Want it to be part of a day out, as opposed to a trip to a shopping centre.
    Done it several years running, and out of ideas.
    Been to gullivers, wentworth Castle, west yorks light railway, and a few places further afield.
    Want somewhere we can book in advance.

    Santa had real reindeer in Sheffield city centre today and the crib had real donkeys and somewhat bizarrely llama's!

    The one at Carbrook(?) garden centre J41 of M1 is quite nice. My two girls (8 and 2) loved the grotto. Cannon Hall is good too, but it's a long wait.
