Having heard all the pro's and cons of the timing (which is still subject to FA Cup Comittee approval) I can honestly say that although perhaps had the game been on Saturday I may have gone and it being likely on a Friday night I won't be making the trip..
I think the Friday night trip is in the best interests of the clubs league position. If it gives us an extra twelve hours rest and if that offers our players a 1% advantage on Tuesday's fixture against Colchester then I'm all for it.
Nevertheless I think the club should offer FREE travel to all those that are prepared to make the trip which will after all will only probably add up to less that the cost of 1 weeks wages for a decent player.
Oh and I think Muller will evry likely be fit on sedti!

Its part of the cup promotion , EON provided a National Express coach for Oldham fans to go to Everton.
I thought that they were doing it eevry game.

You ignore the main point Football is supposed to be a spectator sport. The whole reason for having the games in the first place is for supporters to get to see them. If the club have agreed to the change simply to give the team an extra day to recover then I think it is contemptible.
I Agree Bright Red Everyone complains that teams are lowering the value of the competition by playing weakened teams, but the authorities have to look at themselves for letting this change to be made from the traditional Saturday tie for no good reason.
