We are expected to get around 12-16 inch of snow today here in Maryland, its snowing like buggery right now.

Its a march winter storm, airports closed,DC virtually closed just sat waiting as weve been told we will probably lose power at some point today.

My first ever winter storm.last week at this time i was on a plane to Vegas and 79 degree heat

Today it about 20 degrees and snowing like crazy. What a crazy world we live in

You've only been there a few months and already you're talking like an American. No one under the age of 45 understands Fahrenheit over here. 20 degrees sounds warm.

Well its going to be what he hears it in. My missus soon adapted to centigrade. I tend to think centigrade better for winter and fahrenheit for summer!

Inches - Imperial measure (Old measure)

Fahrenheit (1724) - before centigrade(1742)/celsius(1948) (BBC Weather used Celsius 1985on;))

Correct to use the same ones in one report:p

    So there [IMG]
