Won't be bothering with that again..... went out with my sister to hit the shops girlie style... came home with Three slices of ham A pork pie Some chicken A bottle of wine A nail file (token effort)
RE: I can beat that at least you have a lasting reminder - every time you (sorry, your wife) goes to get the washing in... I've eaten the chicken, the pork pie & ham is for today's packed lunch ... and what are the chances of me ever getting any use out of the nail file. Obviously the wine is untouched .. oh aye....
RE: Unhealthy? ... and I suppose you shook off your hangover with a 2 mile run around Old Town & surrounding areas? Anyway, there were planty of vegetables in the delightful Chicken dish I rustled up ..... I don't suppose you hit the kitchen on Saturday night did you?! Fosters?! Never touch the stuff. (puke)
Good point Him indoors is always telling me about the "five a day" benefits of Apple Pie with lashings of custard. Anyway, how's it going? Impressed by your first week....
I'm not Hopefully, with the start of my exercise campaign this week, I'll start to lose a few more pounds. The loss of only 6lbs in the first week is bitterly disappointing, but it's made me even more determined to get away from my Mr. Blobby physique.
RE: I'm not 6 pounds is good! another 6 pounds next week and thats almost a stone! thats fantastic 2 weeks! hope you are not starving yer sen!
RE: I'm not At the risk of sounding like a health bore (which I am definitely not), excercise will make all the difference.
RE: I'm not maybe some light jogging? you don't want to do anything too strenuous whilst you are that heavy, it won't do your heart any favours.
Funnily enough, mate I've not been hungry all that much. Whenever I do feel the onset, I simply drink water and, so far, that seems to have done the trick.
Correct Rome wasn't built in a day.... It takes many people lots of years to reach their heaviest weight .... I have been perfecting it in recent months..... so to expect it all to fall off is wrong - it'll be a load of peaks & troughs - but stick with it. (Y)
That's what I'm hoping for Nothing too strenuous at first, though. Up, down, up, down, up, down. Then the other eyelid.
RE: Funnily enough, mate good stuff. I would def not starve myself, eat plenty of healthy stuff like fish and fruit. Just cut out buns, chocolate and other such crap. Have you treated yourself this weekend, you should allow yourself a treat at the weekend.
RE: That's what I'm hoping for Well I reckon you should take up some serious dog walking - and just try & beat your previous time as the weeks go by. Poor dog might not know what's hit them tho!
