Not sure it will be the biggest crowd for a while unless Huddersfield bring a crowd of at least 5000. --- But it is certainly going to be the biggest home crowd, and that is the most encouraging point. We are not far off selling out in all the available areas.
Huddersfield should bring at least 5k they are 3rd with a great chance of automatic beat us and then they play newcastle at home in a massive 6 pointer they really should sell out.
If they sell that then we would give them another batch of tickets. We would probley give them 5700 the full north we only gave leeds 5200 and I think that was on police advise and with it been a 5.30 kick off.
I think they should give them every available seat in the north stand. It doesn't matter if they are right down to the corner flag on the east stand side. There will still be plenty of brain donors in that corner intent on goading each other for the whole match so just let them get on with it. If they are too thick to appreciate the drama and entertainment on the pitch then so be it. No amount of stewarding/police presence will change that.
I wonder if that includes all of East L7 nearest the away fans. They've been leaving that half empty recently.
They had 400 tickets left this afternoon, we'll probably be opening the other side of the West tomorrow. May need to segregate both sides of the away end if we do. SYP can't cope.
by the time our board have counted with 5 digits on each hand and the abacus they'll announce just over 16k
Huddersfield were allocated 4600 when I last saw this afternoon they they had sold 4200 if they sell those 400 they will get the rest of the north stand. No one can be allocated the north end of the west as it doesn't have a safety certificate for this season.
It's not been on the Facebook feed but as far as I'm aware this is the case toilet facilities aren't upto scratch and has no safety certificate for this season. I think newcastle that tuesday night would have been given half if we had been able to.
I thought we had stopped giving the West to away fans seasons ago to stop making it a home game for them and we've grown some balls. I've seen nothing with regards to a safety certificate not been given officially so l guess it's fans rumours. We'll find out tomorrow.
I thought it was more the police bill doesn't make it worth it to us just so the away fans can have even more in our ground. I thought if it was our own fans they would happily open that side of the west stand as they did last season when it was needed for our own. It might have changed since then so we will see.
Just what's been said from the start of the season that it cannot be used this season. If it's true or not we will find out if we have a good day of sales today will need the top end of the west for home supporters to buy Saturday morning and for pay on the gate.
As would leeds as they'd sold their allocation a fortnight before the game. Sent from space using satellites and things
"We don't need it" according to the box office.
