As most of you are aware Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley have agreed a reciprocal price arrangement of £20.00 and appropriate reduction for concessions, for our two games this season. This is in line with the Football Supporters Federation 20’s plenty campaign. More details of this offer and the campaign are highlighted here http://www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/doncaster-barnsley-bradford-reciprocal-deal-twentys-plenty It is now up to us as supporters’ to support this pricing initiative and try and get as many supporters as we can to attend these two games and show lower prices can mean more supporters attending the games. It will also show other clubs that these initiatives can work. So can I ask you all that you try your best to get people to join you at these games and tell them it is part of a big campaign that is gathering momentum to reduce prices at all games. Can I also ask that you help publicise the New campaign launched this year, “Share the tv wealth” and sign the petition here http://www.fsf.org.uk/petitions/share-tv-wealth You can also complete the away fans survey here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/away-fans-2015-16 You can use this survey for every game you attend See the FSF website www.fsf.org.uk for further information Or contact Barnsley FC Supporters Trust here http://www.barnsleyfcsupporterstrust.org.uk/ Any help publicising the above will be appreciated
We've had loads of chances to visit their flatpack stadium over the years and our away form is so far poor. If it was like our home form we'd be well up the league. I think the campaign is a good thing but I don't think taking 3 quid off the normal price is going to make people more likely to go.
I believe you have said several times that our away form so far is poor. Actually it would appear our away form is average to good. We have played 6 games away in all competitions and won 2 drawn 2 and lost 2!
Would be good away form if we'd played the Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal. Instead we lost a Radio Sheffield derby, got tonked by our most hated manager ever and struggled to a point at bottom of the league.
