going to take some effort to get 3 away ticket stubs with the away games before donny being qpr, birmingham, blackpool, southampton, ipswich and palace. Only blackpool relatively close in them
RE: That's the whole point yeah good idea, we will be going, not many tickets so i guess they have to be fair. The rugby last week at the keep moat was a brillant atmosphere, meant to be even better for football.
RE: That's the whole point And i totally agree with it. I probably won't get 3 away tickets, probably the Blackpool on but those who do travel to away games should be compensated in a way like that Well done BFC (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) Still be people that moan though
Or somebody who happens to live down south and can go to three local games really easily, pay not one penny to barnsley fc and then get first priority in a local derby.
You have to admit though that not including any requirement to have been to ANY home games is a bit stupid. You don't have to give a penny to barnsley fc to get priority.
southerners are sorted three local games for them in the first few weeks while those that regularly attend home games will have a hard job going to any/many away games until doncaster
RE: You have to admit though that not including any requirement to have been to ANY home games Not really. How many people do you think will have been to 3 away games by that stage and no home games? Not too many I'd wager.
RE: Or somebody who happens to live down south Aye that's it , it's all about making it easy for ALL those southern fans. You'll find an angle to have a moan about everything won't you?
Easy solution move down south and out fox those pasky rules!!!
If the game is sold out it'll be those pasky LondonTykes fault I can gaurantee you

If there are more than 4 people do that I will be amazed in fact I will be really surprised if anyone who goes to Doncaster qualifies on the 3 away tickets rule with no home attendence There may be a few southern fans who only go to Palace QPR and Southampton but dont get to Barnsley very often because its too far - but in that case they are hardly likely to treck to Doncaster. In any case the Southern fans you seem to think are being given preferential treatment either have Season tickets or are regular attenders at Oakwell anyway. Adding a requirement to have home tickets is just complicating things for no reason. Surely the whole point of this system is to ensure regular away supporters can get tickets when they are in short supply ahead of the fans who are basically home supporters but will go to an occasional away game when its nearby. Oh and before you accuse me of being a beneficiary of this systerm - I expect to have been to 3 away games by then. I am unlikely to go - I save my 450 mile round trips for home games which I have already paid for - so to me I dont care what system is used, but do think that this one is a pretty good effort. I bet if the club had said 2 home tickets and 3 away you would still have complained that someone with 3 home games should get priority over them.
